Does it happen that you have several currency accounts and when you are adding a transfer between them, you have to put the currency exchange rate?
If it's a single transaction, it's not much of a problem, but when you have a lot of them, just imagine entering the rate EACH and EVERY time.
But no worries! Now you'll know how to save your time (AND money) by setting an exchange rate for Moneyspire.
Click Tools -> Currencies
The default currency would be the one you have selected in the initial data file setup.
You can change it if needed.
To import the currency rates click Download and wait for about 20-30 seconds to import. Once the process is finished, you can see the latest exchange rates.
Of course, the exchange rates may also vary on the bank, so you may adjust the rate in the same window through the set button:
Now you can add a transfer from one currency account to the other, and you would see that the rate is already applied to the transaction as you have selected the cross-currency transfer. Note, that the exchange rates are downloaded from Yahoo Finance and may insignificantly vary on the bank, so you can make final currency adjustments to the rate while adding the transaction.
